Our hexagon model assesses your AI maturity along six key dimensions based on empirical data and expert analysis.
A few years ago, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) was considered visionary - today it is crucial for competitiveness. However, while some companies are already using AI specifically for automation, analysis and optimization, many are still facing fundamental challenges: unstructured data, a lack of strategy or a lack of internal expertise.
Our study shows: Digital transformation is often slower than technological progress. Companies that successfully integrate AI are already benefiting from measurable increases in efficiency and new value creation opportunities. But AI readiness requires more than just technology - it requires strategic anchoring, cultural change and a solid database.
With the Hexagon model developed by CorpIn, we offer a structured approach to assess the level of digital maturity and derive targeted measures for successful AI integration. Our analysis shows where companies will be in 2025 and what steps need to be taken to exploit the potential of AI in the long term.
A core component of the AI maturity analysis is the Hexagon model developed by CorpIn. This scientifically based framework underpins the scoring and comparison function and serves as a structured assessment tool. It incorporates several qualitative and quantitative characteristics in order to evaluate companies along six central dimensions.
The quality of AI applications depends directly on the quality of your data. Whether on-premises or in the cloud - only valid, up-to-date and structured data enables reliable analyses, well-founded decisions and successful AI integration.
AI initiatives are only successful if they are strategically anchored. This dimension looks at factors such as support from top management, clear objectives, an overarching strategy and continuous monitoring of the success of AI projects.
Cultural change is a decisive factor for transformation and innovation. Acceptance by employees, targeted training and open communication are essential to reduce fears and create an innovation-friendly environment.
A high-performance infrastructure is the basis for the sustainable success of digital solutions and AI applications. This includes scalable systems, sufficient computing capacity and smooth integration into existing IT landscapes.
Technology not only brings opportunities, but also risks. Protecting sensitive data, complying with regulatory requirements and handling data and artificial intelligence responsibly are crucial to ensuring security and trust.
A sound understanding of AI is essential for responsible and effective use. Does your company have access to relevant AI expertise? Are employees receiving targeted training? Artificial intelligence can only be used sensibly with in-depth knowledge of the opportunities and risks.
CorpIn GmbH was founded by students of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and stands for individual AI and digitalization strategies that are closely aligned with the needs of future-oriented decision-makers. Our interdisciplinary team combines business know-how with technical expertise and has set itself the task of developing innovative solutions that create long-term added value. We are convinced that artificial intelligence will only develop its full potential if it is anchored not only technologically, but also culturally and strategically.
This survey was conducted in close collaboration with Stella Seufert as part of her bachelor's thesis at the University of St.Gallen (HSG). As HSG students, it is particularly important to us to maintain close ties with the university and to support corresponding research projects. Through this exchange, we want to ensure that practical challenges and theoretical findings are intertwined, thus creating a sound basis for successful AI integration.
